Beaver Studio Pvt Ltd ("DashApply", "we", "us", or "our") operates DashApply, including the DashApply website and web application at https://dashapply.ai, related services, and the DashApply Form Filler browser extension.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use DashApply. By using DashApply, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

• The DashApply website and web application
• DashApply accounts, profiles, resumes, jobs, tailored resumes, cover letters, and application tracking features
• The DashApply Form Filler browser extension
• Related APIs, support, billing, and transactional communications

This policy does not apply to third-party websites, job boards, employer application pages, applicant tracking systems, or services that we do not operate.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create or use a DashApply account, we collect:

• Email address
• Full name, when you provide it through your profile, resume, or account
• Authentication-related identifiers and tokens

We do not offer password-based authentication. Sign-in is handled through magic links or one-time codes sent to your email. We do not store passwords.

2.2 Resume and Profile Data

To provide DashApply's core services, we collect the professional information you choose to provide, including:

• Contact details, such as phone number, location, LinkedIn URL, GitHub URL, and personal website URL
• Work experience, including job titles, companies, dates, descriptions, and achievements
• Education, including schools, degrees, majors, grades, and coursework
• Skills, certifications, languages, projects, extracurricular activities, interests, and professional summaries

2.3 Equal Employment Opportunity Data

If you choose to provide it, we collect optional demographic and employment-related information to help auto-fill employer EEO and compliance forms, such as:

• Gender
• Ethnicity
• Veteran status
• Disability status
• Work authorization

This data is collected only with your explicit consent. You can delete it from your account settings at any time.

2.4 Job Application Data

When you import, tailor for, or track job applications, we collect:

• Job titles, company names, and job posting URLs
• Job description text and related job posting content
• Application status, dates, notes, and related job tracking information
• Application questions and answers that you choose to save or generate

2.5 Chrome Extension Data

If you use the DashApply Form Filler browser extension, the extension may collect or process:

• Profile and resume information from your DashApply account, used to fill application forms
• Optional EEO preferences from your DashApply account, if you have provided them
• Session token and user ID, used to authenticate requests to DashApply
• The URL, title, and text content of the job posting page when you choose to use the extension on that page

The extension does not collect or track:

• Browsing history or activity on pages where you do not interact with the extension
• Keystrokes
• Passwords or login credentials
• Financial credentials
• Personal communications, such as emails or private messages
• GPS or precise device location

2.6 Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We may store:

• Subscription status
• Plan type
• Billing dates
• Payment provider customer and subscription IDs

We do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or other financial credentials.

2.7 Usage, Device, and Technical Data

We collect limited technical and usage data to operate and improve DashApply, including:

• Feature usage events
• Error logs and diagnostic information
• Performance metrics
• Browser type and general device information
• Security and abuse-prevention signals

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide and maintain DashApply
• Create, import, edit, tailor, and manage resumes, profiles, cover letters, and job applications
• Auto-fill job application forms through the DashApply Form Filler extension
• Analyze job postings to identify requirements, keywords, and application context
• Generate tailored resumes, cover letters, and suggested application answers
• Authenticate users and protect accounts
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails, such as login links, account messages, and service notifications
• Provide support and respond to privacy requests
• Improve product quality, reliability, performance, and security
• Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, or misuse

We do not:

• Sell your personal data
• Use your personal data for advertising or ad targeting
• Share your resume or profile data with employers unless you choose to submit it
• Track your general browsing activity through the browser extension
• Train AI models on your personal data

4. AI Processing

DashApply uses third-party artificial intelligence services to provide features such as:

• Resume tailoring
• Cover letter generation
• Job description analysis
• CV import and extraction
• Suggested answers to application questions

When AI processing occurs, relevant resume, profile, application, and job posting content may be sent to our AI provider's API. The AI provider processes this data to provide the requested output and does not use your personal data to train its models.

You can review AI-generated content before using it. No AI-generated output is submitted to an employer without your action.

5. Chrome Extension Processing

The DashApply Form Filler extension is designed to act only when you choose to use it.

When you click or otherwise invoke the extension to fill an application or process a job posting, the extension may:

• Read the current page's URL, title, and visible text content
• Use profile, resume, and optional EEO information from your DashApply account to fill form fields
• Send job posting content to DashApply servers so DashApply can generate tailored resumes, cover letters, or application answers
• Display profile or resume information in the extension interface

The extension stores profile data and authentication tokens locally in browser extension storage. This data remains available until you disconnect the extension, clear browser extension data, or uninstall the extension.

The extension transmits data only to DashApply servers. DashApply may then use the service providers described in this policy to operate the requested features.

6. Third-Party Services and Sub-Processors

We use third-party service providers to operate DashApply. These providers may process information only for the purposes described below.

We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting services, or cross-site advertising tools.

All third-party providers are subject to their own privacy policies and, where applicable, data processing agreements. A current list of sub-processors is available upon request by contacting privacy@dashapply.ai.

7. Data Storage and Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for data in transit
• Secure account authentication mechanisms
• HTTP-only, secure cookies for web app authentication where applicable
• Local browser extension storage for extension profile data and authentication tokens
• Filtering of sensitive parameters, such as tokens and keys, from application logs where possible
• Error monitoring controls designed to reduce collection of personally identifiable information
• Access controls for production systems

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide DashApply, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Typical retention periods include:

• Account data: retained while your account is active
• Resume, profile, job, cover letter, and application data: retained while your account is active
• Optional EEO preferences: retained until you delete them or delete your account
• Web app session cookies: expire after a limited period of inactivity
• Extension local data: retained until you disconnect the extension, clear extension data, or uninstall the extension
• Analytics and diagnostic data: retained according to our analytics and monitoring provider settings and policies

When you delete your account, associated data is removed from active systems within 30 days, subject to limited retention where required by law, security, fraud prevention, payment records, dispute resolution, or encrypted backups.

9. Cookies and Local Storage

DashApply uses limited cookies and local storage to operate the service.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party advertising trackers, or cross-site behavioral advertising tools.

You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing cookies or storage may affect your ability to stay signed in or use certain features.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights related to your personal information.

10.1 Rights Available to All Users

You may request to:

• Access personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated information
• Withdraw consent for optional data, such as EEO preferences
• Disconnect or uninstall the browser extension to remove extension-stored data from your browser

10.2 European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you may also have the right to:

• Data portability
• Restriction of processing
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests
• Information about automated decision-making
• Lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority

Our legal bases for processing may include:

• Contract performance, to provide the service you signed up for
• Consent, for optional EEO data and certain communications
• Legitimate interests, such as analytics, error monitoring, fraud prevention, security, and service improvement
• Legal obligations, where applicable

DashApply's AI features assist you in creating documents and application materials. They do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

10.3 California

If California privacy law applies to you, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how we use it
• Request deletion of personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information
• Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10.4 India

If India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies to you, you may have the right to:

• Access information about your personal data and processing activities
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Request erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary
• Seek grievance redressal
• Nominate another person to exercise rights in case of death or incapacity

11. International Data Transfers

DashApply is operated by Beaver Studio Pvt Ltd, based in India. Your information may be processed in countries outside your own, including countries where our service providers operate, such as the United States.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as:

• Standard contractual clauses
• Adequacy decisions
• Data processing agreements
• Service provider commitments to data protection

12. Children's Privacy

DashApply is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

13. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data by contacting privacy@dashapply.ai.

You can also remove certain data directly:

• Delete optional EEO preferences from your account settings
• Delete or edit resumes, profiles, jobs, cover letters, and related records in your account where available
• Disconnect the browser extension to remove locally stored extension data
• Uninstall the browser extension to remove extension data from your browser

We will respond to privacy-related requests within 30 days, unless a different period is required or permitted by law.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email or in-app notice.

Your continued use of DashApply after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
