Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DashApply (https://dashapply.ai), operated by Beaver Studio Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using DashApply, you agree to these Terms.

1. What DashApply Does

DashApply is a job application platform that helps you:

  • Manage and tailor resumes for specific job postings
  • Generate cover letters using AI
  • Show a match score comparing your resume to a job description
  • Track job applications
  • Auto-fill job application forms via a Chrome Extension

DashApply is a tool that assists you. You are responsible for reviewing all content before submitting it to employers.

2. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use DashApply
  • One person per account; accounts are not transferable
  • You must notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

3. Your Data and Content

3.1 You Own Your Data

All resume content, work experience, education, and other personal information you enter into DashApply remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your content.

3.2 Licence to Operate

By using DashApply, you grant us a limited licence to process your data as needed to provide the service — including sending it to our AI provider (Anthropic) for resume tailoring and cover letter generation.

3.3 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI features (tailored resumes, cover letters, application answers) is provided for your use. You are free to use, modify, and submit this content as you see fit.

AI can make mistakes. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or fabricated details, and resume tailoring may alter, drop, or misstate facts. You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and verifying the accuracy of all AI-generated content before using it in any job application. We are not responsible for content you submit to employers.

3.4 Match Score

The match score measures how well your resume aligns with a specific job description, based on overlap such as keywords and skills. It is a comparison signal only.

  • The match score is not an applicant tracking system (ATS) score, an employer's rating, or a prediction of your chance of being shortlisted, interviewed, or hired.
  • A high score (including 100%) does not guarantee a shortlist or any application outcome.
  • The score is intended to help you decide where to focus your effort. You are responsible for how you use it.

3.5 Feedback and Suggestions

If you send us feedback, suggestions, feature ideas, or other comments about DashApply, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them for any purpose without any obligation or compensation to you. This does not apply to your resume, profile, or application content, which remains yours under Section 3.1.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use DashApply for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false or misleading information in job applications
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse our service or APIs
  • Use automated tools to access DashApply (except our official Chrome Extension)
  • Resell or redistribute DashApply's services
  • Interfere with the operation of the service

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free and Paid Plans

DashApply offers both free and paid subscription plans. Features available under each plan may change over time.

5.2 Billing and Automatic Renewal

  • Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and your payment method is charged the then-current price, until you cancel
  • Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider
  • Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout
  • You authorise us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel

5.3 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us at contact@dashapply.ai
  • Cancellation stops future automatic renewals; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

5.4 Changes to Pricing

We may change subscription pricing. Changes apply to the next billing cycle after notice. Continued use after the new pricing takes effect constitutes acceptance.

6. Chrome Extension

The DashApply Chrome Extension is an optional companion tool that auto-fills job application forms. By installing it, you agree to:

  • The Privacy Policy (available at https://dashapply.ai/privacy), which covers the Chrome Extension
  • Grant the extension access to read job posting content on pages where you activate it

The extension does not track your browsing activity.

7. Job Listings and Third-Party Content

DashApply allows you to import, browse, and track job postings from external sources. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the legitimacy of any job listing, employer, or recruiter.

  • We are not responsible for fraudulent, misleading, or scam job postings. You are solely responsible for evaluating the legitimacy of any job opportunity before applying or sharing personal information.
  • Never share sensitive information (bank details, government IDs, passwords) with employers through the application process unless you have independently verified the employer's identity.
  • If you encounter a suspicious job posting, please report it to us at contact@dashapply.ai so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Service Availability

  • We aim to keep DashApply available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability
  • We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions
  • Third-party AI services may experience outages that affect AI features

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • DashApply is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for the outcome of any job application
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beaver Studio Pvt Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of DashApply
  • Content you submit to employers or third parties, including AI-generated content you choose to use
  • Information you provide in job applications
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party

11. Intellectual Property

  • DashApply's software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Beaver Studio Pvt Ltd
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission
  • Your content remains yours (see Section 3)

12. Account Termination

12.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days, subject to the retention terms described in our Privacy Policy.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will provide notice where practicable.

13. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Beaver Studio Pvt Ltd regarding DashApply, and supersede any prior agreements or communications on the subject. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date
  • For significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice

Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
